This upgrade enables you to change the video and audio settings on your ContourHD camera. With this firmware, you will be able to configure the video (bitrate), lighting (contrast, exposure, sharpness, and metering), and microphone sensitivity. You can use the latest version of the Easy Edit Software to configure these camera settings.
Point of view helmet cams used to be more about convenience than video quality. You could easily mount the camera anywhere but the main drawback was low resolution videos that barely had enough resolution for Youtube.

Most regular digital cameras only give you a 60 to 75 degree angle of view on the widest angle. The VholdR ContourHD has improved on their previous camera with new, whopping 135º wide angle lens! This is wide enought to put everything in the frame but not so wide that it distorts the landscape.
